MCAP

Definition:

Mobile Position Capability. Indication of capability of a wireless handset, typically reflecting GPS capability levels. The
MPCAP capability, represented numerically, is transmitted from the MSC to the MPC (and may be modified by the MPC
if the ESN in the ORREQ matches an ESN range in the ESNMPCAP table). The MPCAP value is used to determine if the
handset is locatable by the PDE.
