PSAP, Primary

Definition:

The PSAP to which a 9‐1‐1 call is first routed. If the PSAP receives calls through transfer but also receives first routed
calls, it is still a primary PSAP.

Wireless Phase 0

0 Required by FCC. The delivery of a wireless 9‐1‐1 call (where 9‐1‐1 are dialed digits) to a PSAP.

Alternate PSAP

An Alternate PSAP is designated to receive 9‐1‐1 calls if the call cannot be delivered to the primary PSAP.
