Number Pooling

Definition:

When a company donates a thousand block(s) of numbers within a prefix (Ex: 305‐444‐B) to another company. In this
case the first company owns the prefix, but the second company is using one or more thousand blocks of TNs, and all
TNs in those thousand blocks will be owned by the second company.  

Source Systems

A telephone company’s customer records database that contains all telephone subscriber records.
