BST Quick Service

Definition:

BellSouth service which provides the ability for disconnected TNs to dial 9‐1‐1 or the AT&T‐SE Business office. These TNs cannot dial out for any other number, nor can they receive incoming calls. The normal recorded message heard when a BST Quick Service TN is dialed is “This number is not currently accepting incoming calls.”

Inter-Tandem Transfer

The capability of transferring a call over the 9‐1‐1 network from a PSAP served by one 9‐1‐1 tandem to a PSAP served by a different 9‐1‐1 tandem.
