Out-Of-Brand Signaling
Any signaling method that uses frequencies that are not in the normal transmission frequency bands of the information transmissions.
Definition:
A communications path that takes traffic farther than the ultimate destination and then routes it back. The cost of transmission to the more remote location is lower than a more direct route.
